Mystical aging isn’t about wisdom,

it’s about being ever closer

to life’s pure experience:

old bodies, slower thoughts,

sunrises and cold winds,

loving touch, timeless moments,

deep breaths, honest conversation,

and the steadily parting veil.

Perhaps that is wisdom.
