Possibilities of Sacred Consciousness

We are just beginning to experience

the  possibilities of mystical awareness, like

dissolving the false world,

experiencing awakened consciousness,

realizing Heaven on Earth,

embracing the powers of God,

building sacred community,

becoming divine humans,

communicating across the veil,

healing the planet.

This new consciousness is evolution’s urgent objective.

Its already here.

We can look at events through many lenses –  

belief, science, religion, and psychology,

but ultimately

it’s all mystical.

In mystical consciousness,

we meet God as reality

and encounter something so beautiful

we fall to our knees.

Four Ways to Relate to Humanity’s Dream Illusions

1. Believe they are true, never doubt them, and  remain lost in an endless dream.

2. Realize they are a dream but seek to slay the illusions as a spiritual activist, warrior, or bodhisattva.

3. Practice awakening from the dream, for none of us have fully escaped its power of enchantment.

4. Rest in blissful consciousness–taking none of the dream seriously but holding it in love.

The Dream Self and the Dream

When a child’s emerging self

confronts civilization’s fearful contradictions,

a dream of struggle and strife is born.

Transcend the personal dreamer

and the dream disappears.

We solve the world’s problems

not by fighting them

but by waking each day

from our separate dreams.

Dream a New Dream

I am not the doer,

thinker,

hero,

monster,

lover,

or victim

in this dream.

Avoid attachment to a personal self or story

and watch your movie projector create

new images every second of the day

through your consciousness.

Then wake up as God dreaming

a new dream,

 and see what changes.

Who is the “Doer?”

The mind’s most compelling illusion

is the “doer.”

We think we are doing the things we do.

In this mind trick, we dream up

a fictional identity, back story,

and life of constant action.

But who or what is the doer?

On waking, I discover I am God  

dreaming myself as the doer.

The moral?

Release the doer into the sublime flow of being.

God’s dream will take care of itself.

Child’s Play

Believing consciousness

to be our own, we take

the long adventure of life.

Like a child playing with toy figures,

we create an imaginary self.

Duality is God’s way of joining the dream

for the pure experience of creativity.

Sometimes, engaging God’s consciousness,

we create nightmares.

But as my grandmother used to say,

“Life is a schooling of the spirit

from the cradle to the grave.”

So, be sure to learn

along the way.

The Dreamer and the Dream

Just as everything in a dream 

is part of the dreamer,

everything in humanity’s dream

is me, too, no matter how ugly or evil,

for I am its dreamer.

Parts of the dream may seem separate from me

because I don’t  like those parts.

But they are still me.

The greater insight is this:

In awakened consciousness,

I am not this dream at all.

I am God’s consciousness watching.

This is liberation.

There is a more beautiful dream waiting.

Don’t Argue with Your Dream

Life is a dream, 

but humanity’s version

has become a pernicious spell,

its drama luring us ever more deeply  into itself.

The more you fight with this dream, the deeper you get.

Lose yourself in the dream, and you will lose

consciousness for decades.

Transcend the impulse to fight.

Watch as God watches.

Wake up and  discover God’s original dream

waiting all around you.
