Incarnating God

“I am God” awakens

rivulets of love

 that spread through the body,

subtle energies of spirit

transforming the self.

From this re-union

we channel the joy

that is in everything.

We incarnate God

and birth

our work in the world.

Unity Means Divinity

It’s one of the central tenants of mysticism.

Either everything is God or it’s not.

But if all is divinity,

how can we experience this directly?

Follow these steps slowly and carefully.

1.

Discard all objections

to the idea of pantheism,

for they completely reject God’s unity.

2.

Adjust your expectations.

Realize that everything experienced directly

and without thought is God.

Everything!

3.

In a consciousness free of thought,

in a still and quiet moment,

look intensely at everything around you.

Keep looking until perception is crystal clear

and the world appears

 vividly beautiful and perfect

exactly as it is.

You are witnessing God’s being,

including your own body.

4.

Pick a focal point nearby.

Any object will do.

Look at it steadily and, at the same time,

intensify awareness

of your own consciousness.

Notice now that consciousness is not

just in you,

you are in it.

It is awake, aware, and present.

You have found God’s consciousness.

5.

Like focusing binoculars, bring

 God’s being and consciousness together

by experiencing your own conscious being.

Soon you will sense conscious being everywhere.

It’s all one thing.

It’s all God.

That’s unity.

Melting into Love

The mind’s self-concept forms a “me”

separate from God.

Enlightenment is said to dissolve this duality

back into divinity.

Here’s what actually happens:

sensing God,

divine consciousness expands

until separation melts

in the raging furnace

of love-bliss.

Then,

I am you,

we are God,

and the world is one again.

God’s Instructions

Be still,

quiet, patient, peaceful, motionless,

without thought.

Whisper my name.

Experience my presence.

Stay with me

in this ever-new moment

and I will bathe you in

consciousness that will soon be yours,

a sea of bliss.

The Discovery of Silence

The Discovery of Silence

Can we take two minutes

to not talk

and see what happens?

What’s found in silence

is here always,

though we miss it in busyness.

The discovery may happen spontaneously

or with intention,

but suddenly we get it:

God’s consciousness is everywhere.

We sense it

directly.

Just as suddenly,

everything changes.

WAKING UP

Waking Up

Waking up

erases beliefs, goals, purposes, and fantasies.

Like a faulty lens, thinking distorts perception.

You see only what you expect.

Stop thinking, look deeply, and

you are transformed

by the experience of what is right here,

for it’s all God,

including you.

In this gorgeously elated moment,

spiritual awakening happens,

in a glance, a heartbeat, a single breath.

Each day we stand at the threshold

between illusions

and extraordinary revelations.

Pebble in a Pond

Saying “I am God” is
like dropping a pebble
in a very still pond
and watching the ripples
spread across the surface.
If the pond
were infinite consciousness,
divine ripples would reach
everyone.
What would happen if
we dropped
a love boulder
in the pond?
A tsunami of love.

A Forbidden Practice

A Forbidden Practice

“I Am God” is a spiritual mantra
often frowned upon by experts.
To some, it smacks of egotism.
But the ego does not become God,
for in awakening, no separate ego is left
to feel superior or important.
Instead, a marvelous new energy arises
transforming personality, motive, and
perception, transfiguring the world
right where
you are.
Everything becomes God.
For those who enter this consciousness,
love becomes the prime mover of existence.

Personal Transformation

Personal Transformation

is the greatest offering

we can make to the world, for

each awakening ignites

humanity’s collective consciousness.

Because all consciousness is one, change

yourself and you change the world.
