The Discovery of Silence

Can we take two minutes

to not talk

and see what happens?

What’s found in silence

is here always,

though we miss it in busyness.

The discovery may happen spontaneously

or with intention,

but suddenly we get it:

God’s consciousness is everywhere.

We sense it

directly.

Just as suddenly, 

everything changes.
