Watching the House of Cards Fall

When thought ceases,

the false self and its world drop away,

and the mind’s house of cards collapses to reveal we never left the Garden.

We are divine beings in a divine world spun of consciousness,

joy,

beauty,

and love.

In this holy revelation,

we come home to a place

we only thought we’d lost.

The Cosmic Artist

I am God. I paint the world

in living colors

and dress in brilliantly-designed fabrics.

I offer resplendent sunsets and sunrises,

endless stars and galaxies,

ravishing mysteries.

I am laughter and wonder.

I am you.

Be me.

Create!

You Are Part of the Miracle

Countless billions of organisms inhabit the living Earth,

creating, birthing, evolving,

all nourished by

the sun’s energy,

in a cosmos of infinite proportions and inexplicable processes,

yet we argue about politics?

With a brain as miraculous as the cosmos,

stand still and witness this miracle before your eyes.

Creation is not hard to see.

You are an essential part of it.

I Hold You

in my gently cupped hands of golden light.

I touch your eyes

and before you shines

the dazzlingly radiant creativity

of a sacred cosmos

and the one blazing light of consciousness

that permeates reality.

Be stunned.

Be ecstatic.

Join me.

Be God.

Give Up Explaining

The mystical essence of reality, including us,

is existence-consciousness-bliss.

It’s the singular nature of God’s being in the world

creating Heaven on Earth.

The ego attempts to explain this idea

to stay in charge. It always fails.

Only direct perception of Creation’s

sacred beauty and luminosity

confirms this revelation.

Give up explaining.

No one will understand anyway.

Experience Heaven.

That’s all the proof you need.

Invitation To Flow

Flow is an experience of Heaven on Earth.

It happens magically during wide-awake,

thought-free, sensory awareness.

You can find it in gardening, folding clothes,

rocking a baby, or singing to a favorite song.

In flow, we take each moment exactly as it is,

without modifying thought, goal, plan, or judgment.

Focusing on our own physical being,

we surrender to its pure energy

and find ourselves dissolving into fluid, easy, spontaneous,

even dance-like motion filled with soul.

It just happens,

effortless, timeless, eternal, like a river.

Float in it.

But be alert to ego’s siren call for control,

analysis, impatience, frustration, self-consciousness,

embarrassment, or simply “getting back to normal.”

With a single complaint, we trade

enlightenment for ego,

and the prison doors of the mind close again.
