Pebble in a Pond

Saying “I am God” is
like dropping a pebble
in a very still pond
and watching the ripples
spread across the surface.
If the pond
were infinite consciousness,
divine ripples would reach
everyone.
What would happen if
we dropped
a love boulder
in the pond?
A tsunami of love.

A Forbidden Practice

A Forbidden Practice

“I Am God” is a spiritual mantra
often frowned upon by experts.
To some, it smacks of egotism.
But the ego does not become God,
for in awakening, no separate ego is left
to feel superior or important.
Instead, a marvelous new energy arises
transforming personality, motive, and
perception, transfiguring the world
right where
you are.
Everything becomes God.
For those who enter this consciousness,
love becomes the prime mover of existence.

Personal Transformation

Personal Transformation

is the greatest offering

we can make to the world, for

each awakening ignites

humanity’s collective consciousness.

Because all consciousness is one, change

yourself and you change the world.

A New Path to Enlightenment

A New Path to Enlightenment

Satori is not required for enlightenment.

You need only replace conventional beliefs

with sustained mystical consciousness.

Its revelations will bring quantum leaps in your

understanding and realization of God.

Within and Without

Within & Without

To go within yourself is to go

within everything, for

God’s within knows no boundaries.

My within includes

Earth, trees, sky, plants, animals, and you.

To go without engages the mind’s

penchant for conceptual boundaries,

splitting Creation into endless distinctions.

Failing to experience ourselves

within one another, each becomes

the distrusted other.

Disappearing

Disappearing

Gazing out the window into an August garden, absent-

mindedly surveying the colorful,  overflowing

abundance,

I rest in the peace of now.

I enter stillness.

Words lose their meaning,

tumble into silent nothingness.

The mind settles.

I disappear in the void.

Only a shell remains,

and you,

everywhere,

like air.

Sacred Waters

Sacred Waters

As Creator,
I don an iridescent cloak
and become Eden.
As the sentient river of life,
tides, hues, scents,
 tastes, sounds,
moods, and countless
beings,  flow out of
me and back again.
You have lost touch with the
swirling waters of my eternal Self.
It is time to swim again.
Repeat after me:
I am the living God.
I dwell in all beings.
In me awakens the ecstasy of song,
dance, courting, and creating, of
life, love, and longing,  of earth,
wind, and sky,  as I dissolve in the
spirit-filled waters of Creation.

To See Me, Be Me

To See Me, Be Me

Here’s the ultimate riddle:

“I am everyone,

but no one sees

me. Who am I?”

God.

How can this be?

We see what we imagine…

a “homeless person”

“police officer”

“mother”

“clerk”

“student”

“criminal”

“nurse”

While we have a backstory for each, we never

see God behind the masks.

Nor do the figures experience God in themselves.

But wipe clean the “doors of perception,”

remove masks and narratives,

and what a homecoming we would have.

One loving family

awaking from a long nightmare.

What is the moral here?

God replies,

“You must be me to see me.”

Awaken divine consciousness and the

face of God will shine in everyone you meet.
